Introducing our Charity of the Year 2024 – Mentoring Plus

Bath Building Society is delighted to announce our Charity of the Year for 2024 is Mentoring Plus.
We asked Society colleagues to nominate a charity close to their heart, who they believe do great work in the local community and would like to see the Society partner with as our Charity of the Year. Colleagues and Members voted for a shortlist of three amazing local charities and the winner was Mentoring Plus.
We will be working together to raise awareness in our local community, of the amazing work that Mentoring Plus do by supporting young people in Bath and the surrounding area who are facing challenges which can include family breakdown, bereavement, isolation, domestic violence or experience of being in or leaving care.
Becki Cox, Community Manager at Mentoring Plus, said:
“We are delighted that Bath Building Society employees and Members have chosen us as their charity of the year and look forward to working with them to help raise much needed funds. We couldn’t continue to work with as many children and young people as we do without the support of brilliant local businesses like Bath Building Society who invest in local charities and communities.”

We hope to raise awareness of the children’s mentoring services they work tirelessly to provide, giving every child the opportunity to reach their full potential.”
