Rent A Room allows the applicant to use future rental income from renting a spare room in the property towards the mortgage calculation.
While Buy For Uni allows students to buy their own home and become a live-in landlord by using the rental income from renting out rooms to fellow students. The Buy For Uni product also uses the Joint Borrower Sole Proprietor feature to enable parent/s to be joint borrowers on the mortgage but the student is the only borrower on the mortgage deeds.
