Julian House chosen by Members as Charity of the Year 2025.

We are delighted to announce our charity partner for 2025 is Julian House.

We asked Bath Building Society colleagues to nominate a charity close to their heart, who they believe do great work in the local community and would like to see the Society partner with as our Charity of the Year. Our Members voted for a shortlist of three amazing local charities and the winner was Julian House.

Julian House is a South West based charity that supports vulnerable and at-risk individuals. These include adults and young people experiencing homelessness, escaping domestic abuse, adults with learning difficulties and people who need support after leaving prison.

Helen Bedser, CEO of Julian House, said:

“We are thrilled to be named Bath Building Society’s Charity Partner of the Year for 2025. This partnership is an opportunity to work together to create lasting change and support the most vulnerable people in our community.

Support like this is not just a lifeline for charities like Julian House but a beacon of hope for the individuals and families we serve. It ensures that we can continue offering services that provide safety, support, and opportunities to rebuild lives.

A heartfelt thank you to Bath Building Society for your generosity and belief in our mission. We are particularly excited about the fundraising opportunities and the chance to involve Society colleagues in volunteering experiences that will make a difference in our community.”

Richard Ingle, CEO of Bath Building Society, said:

“Julian House is an incredible local charity with a far reaching presence throughout the South West region and we are looking forward to supporting them through our colleague volunteering programme, education and awareness in the local community via our Branches and fundraising activities throughout the year.”
