New Chief Transformation Officer appointed

We are pleased to announce the appointment of our first Chief Transformation Officer, Steve Burnard.
Steve joins the Executive Committee as Chief Transformation Officer as the Society enters its busiest period of change to date, with a focus on digital transformation.
Steve joined the Society in 2021 to set up the Business Change team, focused on improving operational efficiency including major transformation projects.
Prior to joining the Society, Steve spent almost ten years at Lloyds Banking Group, holding numerous roles spanning relationship management, performance management & project management. He also spent 18 months in New Zealand involved in the early stages of a newly formed Green Investment Bank.
In his spare time Steve enjoys spending time outdoors hiking, cycling or running as well as being a Bath Rugby and general sports fan.
