Sameer joined the Board as Non-Executive Director in 2022 and serves on the Risk, Nominations and Remuneration committee. Recognised as one of the World’s top 100 Data Innovators and the UK’s top Data Leaders, Sameer brings extensive expertise in data, technology and digital transformation. He played a pivotal role in leading the data transformation at The Royal Mint before founding his own consultancy, Datamonet, specialising in data science and technology strategy.
Sameer’s career includes positions in Risk & Business Analysis at Lloyds TSB and HBOS, followed by the leading data science function at GoCompare. He has also consulted with major organisations such as BT, Shell, Whitbread Group and Jaguar Land Rover offering strategic insights to drive digital innovation.
Beyond his professional achievements, Sameer is an accomplished writer and publisher, with three internationally successful books. In his leisure time he enjoys family activities, cricket, badminton and tennis. Sameer also contributes as a Non-Executive Director across diverse sectors including Banking, Sports, Housing and Healthcare, leveraging his strategic acumen to foster innovation and growth across industries.
