We’ve been helping our Members save since 1904 so you can be confident that Bath Building Society is a safe place for your money. Originally operating as a Friendly Society, using Members’ investments to buy property to rent, becoming a Building Society in the 1950s and lending money for people to buy their own homes.
As one of the smaller Societies in the UK, we are passionate about giving Members a personal service. We don’t have automated call centres – you’ll get straight through to the team when you call us and have access to the decision makers. And being a small Society we’re able to offer much more flexibility to ensure we meet individual customers’ needs.
We have two Branches, Wood Street in central Bath and Oldfield Park, as well as a head office customer service team, making it very easy to do business with us face to face, by phone, live chat or email. You can also manage your account online or via the App.
